Last of the "old" camera. We had a Canon camera and it broke. That camera took us from Jason's referral to about Easter 2005. Boring stuff but here are the photos

Pink Eye sucks

The title of my post says it all. I woke up with double pink eye. It iches and it's driving me bats.

Mom's dr emailed me and said "she has too much fluid in her brain for her age" whatever that means. I take her to a neuraligist in Feb.

Random thoughts:
I hate laundry.
I'm getting sick of looking at my childrens photos as the photo project marches on. I am having fun taking Jeff's baby negatives to costco and having them all scanned onto CD;s. I had 93 negs scanned for $6. Can't beat that. That's not 93 strips, but 93 photos. (you know there are about 5 photos per strip) I'm off to take in another batch.

We are finally getting some much needed rain here in the bay area although probably not enough

The cat has worms going to take him in tomorrow for a shot. Could be worse. The cat could have Pink Eye and I could have worms.

Slowly the Christmas Decorations are coming down at the Christmas house. Finally, although it's still lit up every night

I did not vote for Obama. I don't hate the guy but there are some issues I do not agree with. That being said, I do hope and pray he can rise to the occasion. More power to him and God Speed.

Here, for anyone who is interested, are our Disneyland photopass photos. Basically the same few shots with different borders around them. I'm not as happy with this years set because we didn't take as many. I wanted to get the boys with Darth Vader or at the Haunted Mansion but the photopass photographers weren't out that much this year.

The Jani of Oz

I have been told by someone who has not seen me in over 5 years, that a) I should let my hair go grey so I will "look my age" and b) if I MUST color it, God Forbid don't do it yourself at home because you will look like the straw man from the Wizard of Oz. As anyone who knows me knows, I am not into hair and makeup and all that froo froo stuff. I have nothing aganist it, but, lets face it, I'm lazy. I know I could and probably should do more but I frankly don't feel like it nor do I care. I take that back, I care a little but obviously not enough to actually do it, unless I'm going somewhere important. However, there is no way in HELL I am going to let my hair go totally gray so I can "look my age" I will end up looking my mother's age thank you very much, and even she was complaining, just today, that she hated being gray and should maybe color it. As for at home hair color, I have been using "Natural Match" for about 2 years now and my hair has never once resembled the straw man from the Wizard of Oz.

As Gary the guy I used to work with from the Pennysaver used to say "How Rude"

Slowly but surely I am working on my pictures. As I edit and print out each set, I will post to both Picasa web albums and Flickr. It may take me the rest of the year but I am determined to finish it.

The photo project continues

My brain hurts from all the photo sorting I did this weekend. I made my own baby photo book. After all the sorting and re-sorting and catagorizing, I was able to fine tune all MY personal photos, starting with my pregnant mother and working my way UP. (up to about Kindergarten) after K I guess I wasn't ineresting enough to photograph and it pretty much stopped. Believe me, there weren't that many of me when they were taking photos. God bless my ham aunt, (the one who married Dave and I) because a) most of the photos she took were in color and b) she wrote everything on the back so I knew exactly how old I was, and when and where it was taken. unlike my parents who were like "ehh guess it's you" Oh well, it's pretty much done and I'm happy with it. I have to say I was a very pretty little girl up until about 1st grade, when I guess someone hit me with an ugly stick because after that it's BAD. No I'm not being too hard on myself, ya have to see the pictures.

The Christmas House down the street is still all decorated like Christmas is tomorrow with every light still a blazing. TAKE DOWN THE CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS!!

The saga of the photos continues

I won't go into the drama of the STUPID Costco Photo Organizer, because it's complicated and I don't feel like dealing with it. Lets just say it worked, then it didn't and NOBODY at either Costco or the website have any idea how to fix it. Anyway, I went to BestBuy and got a wonderful program and which allows me to print multiple photos on a single page in a varity of combinations. This will allow me to, (hopefully)make hard copy of all my digital photos, and post it to the website thus making a 3rd backup of the photos. (Hard copy, Flickr, and a backup of each set burned onto this photosave deal thing)
Maybe not interesting to the 2 readers of my blog but I"m excited.

I did invite a bunch of family to my blog, including Lisa K, but so far only Lisa N and Deanne have joined.

Maybe they all secretly hate me.....
