Prognosis Negative

Almost positive Chris has Bile duct cancer, (who knew you could get cancer in your bile duct??) If confirmed 100% it isn't pretty:

The disease is most prevalent in females older than age 60. It's rapidly progressive and usually fatal; patients seldom live a year after diagnosis. The poor prognosis is due to late diagnosis; gallbladder cancer isn't usually diagnosed until after cholecystectomy, when in many cases it's in an advanced, metastatic stage.

That part shocked me honestly. I figured she would drone on for awhile. She is officially sicker than my mom, and therefore off the hook with me being irriated that she has ignored mom for over 6 years. Although, I still don't understand that.

I;m not sure how I feel. Of course I'm upset, but I'm not freaking out. Maybe it hasn't sunk in yet, or maybe I'm just tooo busy with mom and kids and a crazy cat that won't GET OUT OF MY CHAIR. She's making jokes. "Should I renew my zoo membership??" and tons of Seinfeld jokes.

It's BAAAACCCCKKKK!!

My ear infection that is. It went away for a lovely 5 days and now it's back. Obviously the antibiotic the first Dr gave me wasn't strong enough to totally kill it. Now I'm on something else. Not sure exactly what I've lost track. It hurts and I'm pissed. Least I can breathe this time, (for the time being) I think the other meds at least cleared up the sinus infection. Guess I would rather be deaf than not able to breathe. You don't have to have good hearing to sleep, actually could make sleeping easier, but if you can't breathe you can't sleep. That really really sucks.

I hate both my neighbors God awful trees. My sister may not have liver cancer for sure. One Dr says probably yes, the other says her cancer markers in the blood don't show anyting so probably no. She will have to have a more advanced test to be sure.

Photo projecta nd Relaity TV

I have not forgotten about the photo project. It's sitting there mocking me everytime I walk by the second empty album and I log onto the computer and I see Picasa. I went like gang busters for about 6 weeks then crashed. My sister asked to see some Easter photos of the boys, which I don't have btw, so I logged onto Flickr and got a sudden burst of renewed enthusiasm. I pulled back out the remaminder of Jeffrey's photos and the book, and am going to finish putting the photos in the second book. I will then cross check to make sure all those photos I scanned from Costco are in the book and start posting them to Flickr and my blog again. This is the sort of thing that if I don't finish it now I never will. I'm home now with Jason and my mom, so I have free time. Keep checking back for new sets.

I Love going to open houses, and I HATE going to open houses! There are 2 houses on my walking route and I stopped in to lookie loo. They were beautiful. The first one does not look like much on the outside but they added on a HUGE master suite and it was BEAUTIFUL. The other one was nicer on the outside and had a neato loft area above the living room. Makes me realize how dumpy my own house is, which is why I hate going to open houses.

Why do I watch this stuff?? Reality TV that is. Some of these shows are SOOOO STUPID but for whatever reason, lazy, nothing else on, something comes on after something else and you get sucked in. I am hooked on, gulp... Celebrity Apprentice, and Food Network Challenge. I LOVE food network challenge! They are always making these crazy cakes in 8 hours. Sometimes they break apart while they are trying to move them to the front table. Tonight is round 3 of 4 of "last cake standing" They are supposed to make SuperHero cakes. Could be interesting. I love Food Network. Dinner Impossible, Good Eats, Iron Chef. It's clean TV and I don't have to worry about the kids watching it. I have no excuse for watching Celebrity Apprentice other than I'm just another one of the brainless wonders who turn it on. I think it's funny. It draws you in and I just have to see Trump yell at these people. DO I REALLY care if Joan Rivers gets fired? No. But it is fun to see her pitted agnist her daughter... I guess.

my cold has moved into my left ear and it hurts like hell. Of course I have to take mom to Kaisar for her eyes so I can't go to the doctor myself. I have had it with this cold. If it's not one thing it's another.

sorry to vent but it's my blog and I'll bitch if I want to....



The blind guy got voted off American Idol...yay. BORING! I am rooting for Danny, Adam and Allison. I think it's going to be Adam and Allison at the very end. Can't say who is better as they are both so different.

update for anyone who cares: My mom had an eye appt at Kaisar at 3:15. I was able to go to see my Dr. at 4:15 (same building) and I have a rip roaring ear infection. Bleh.

It's almost Easter....

and the Christmas decorations are ALMOST completly down. Looks like they finally pulled all the junk off the roof, and stacked the 4 HUGE tree cutouts across the garage door. Still looks like they are up but you can tell he's finally pulling them down. His wife probably didn't want Christmas trees in their Easter Egg hunt photos.

My cold took hold in my ears and sinuses. You never truly appreciate BREATHING until you are up all night because you can't.

I have a cold

and my head hurts, my sinues hurt my ears hurt. Everytime I get a cold it lasts forever and makes me crazy.

The medication my mom is on are doing something. If she stays like this I'm ok. She is loopy but cheerful. I can handle that. I can't handle combative. I'm terrified that she will do something to herself and I'll get blamed for it. My worst fear. I hate social workers and the idea of one snooping around my business terrifies me. That is one reason I don't want to do a conservertership. I know the trouble Mike Sylvester had/has and it's not pretty. She doesn't go anywhere or do anything not sure why it's necessary.

Dave found me a nice bike in the trash pickup. Its a girls huffy and it's dark pink. I like it.

April Fools day

I should come up with something clever to say like "I'm pregnant" or Guess what I finally won the lottery and I'm paying off everyones houses, then end with a rousing APRIL FOOL....!
