Now take down your Christmas Decorations! Christmas is over it's time to let go. It's funny how charming they all are at the beginning of December, and how old and beaten up they look on new years day.
New Years? My family had a tradition that it was bad luck if they were up past New Years Eve.
Although with the ladder involved and the classiness of my husband's lighting job, I suggested he should leave them up. He's taking them down on Saturday.
Well those in waste high snow can keep them up until valentines day. Lights don't bother me, it's all the inflatable santas and spinning globes. I should take a picture of the house down the street. I have never seen a house covered in more STUFF. Looks like they went to Walmart and bought everything they could find and stuck it up. Then they leave it up until I swear Valentines day.
just one of my pet peeves. Heck I used to start taking down my decorations at 5pm Christmas day. Now I leave them up unti New Years but I usually don't put them UP until about Jason's birthday on the 19th.
